The Gulshan Kumar Charitable Trust has been a pillar of support for underprivileged communities for many years. With a focus on sustainable livelihood support, the trust has been working tirelessly in various fields such as medical aid, education for the poor, natural calamities, and providing food and shelter, among others, to uplift the lives of the needy.
One of the most well-known initiatives of the trust is the free langar service at Vaishno Devi, which has been running for decades. In addition, the trust provides major financial support for costly and fatal diseases, and also provides food and medical aid to leprosy patients in Haridwar, as well as organizing leprosy camps across the country.
Recently, the trust donated a pat scan machine to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi, where poor patients can get their tests done at a very low cost. Sudesh Dua, Gulshan Kumar’s wife, has also launched a Free Medical Ambulance for Noida and the entire NCR region to extend dedicated transport services to patients in need, free of cost. The trust has also provided an ambulance free of cost for conducting regular leprosy camps in different places.
The launch event was attended by Sudesh Dua, along with his daughter and Bollywood singer Tulsi Kumar, and the dedicated team of T-Series family. The trust’s commitment to sustainable livelihood support and community-related charities has made a significant impact in the lives of many underprivileged communities.
